Metal Maidens is a magazine from The Netherlands, established in the summer of 1995 by Rita van Poorten (chief-editor) and her husband, Toine van Poorten (co-editor). After ten years and forty print issues (the final 'farewell' edition came out in July 2005), we decided to continue as an internet 'zine only. Which means we can be more 'up-to-date' and bring you all the latest news first.
